The story of One Shot Creative begins with a spark…literally. In 2017, founder Stephen picked up his first drone, a humble DJI Spark, and placed an Airtasker ad for flying lessons. One afternoon on Coogee Hill, notebook in hand, he took to the skies for the very first time. From that moment, he was hooked. A few months later, a chance adventure to Fiji turned into something bigger. What began as a simple trip with a friend became a six-month gig filming aboard a gold-wrapped superyacht. That experience opened doors to projects around the world and cemented Stephen’s passion for using drones not just as a tool, but as a storytelling medium.
Out of this passion, One Shot Creative was born. The name reflects the unique way Stephen and the team film: immersive, first-person fly-throughs that bring spaces to life in a single, seamless shot. This FPV (first-person view) approach creates a feeling of being inside the space - long before setting foot through the door.
